i wanna have internet on my x box but i don’t got a router so i just wanna buy a splitter for the Ethernet so i can have the computer connected an my x box 360 will it work? thks for the help!

Without a router you can only have ONE device operative at any particular time. Each device within a network needs a unique IP address, routers supply that modems don’t and splitters won’t either. You either need a router of you have to use the Xbox and computer at different times.

But the format of the game is a familiar one to anyone who has ever taken part in a quiz game of any type. These titles were originally released as DVD games, which you played using your remote control, and were popular despite the limitations of that format. On the Xbox 360, this genre of game kicked off with the previous version of Scene It, Lights Camera Action, in 2007. The difference with Scene It? to traditional quizzes is that when you know the answer, or think you know the answer, you can buzz in, just like on a TV panel game. Once you buzz, your fellow players are shut out and you get the opportunity to answer the question. This avoid any arguments aver who shouted “I know it!” first. If you don't have a “Buzzer Button” controller you can use the standard Xbox controller. Making use of the multi-media capabilities of your console, Scene It can show you scenes, or play you sounds from movies and ask you to identify the movie or actor. The game also features “Credit Roll”, where you are shown the stars of a film and the characters they played, and you have to guess the title. “Panel Flix” shows you an old-school, 8-bit style animation of a scene fro a film, and you guess the name of the film. “Which Is Which” shows similar stills from two movies and asks you to select the correct one. “Quotables,” required you to to finish a famous line from a featured film. Scene It keeps track of the questions you've been asked to minimise repetition. As you would expect, the whole thing can be played on-line, and there's downloadable content available from Xbox Live, and to tie in with the New Xbox Live Experience, the game features player avatars. Scene It is available either with or without the Big Button peripheral, so if you already have one from the last game, you don't have to pay for it again. But if you don't have one, or you've broken the last one after hundreds of hours of button pressing, you can get another set with Box Office Smash. The Big Button controllers use infra-red rather than Microsoft's usual joypad wireless standard. Although the Xbox 360 has an infra-red receiver built in, it is not capable of handling four devices simultaneously; so the Big Button peripheral includes its own external sensor. Skate 3 (Xbox 360) $19.95 Skateboarding games have always been something of a solitary experience. Sure, you have the multiplayer modes that add a whole heap of replay value, but besides that there's not a whole lot of the team spirit that you see in real life 'boarding. After a good run shaking up the urban sport, Black Box returns to tackle that very issue in Skate 3. The key element to this latest instalment is collaboration. You're not on your tod grinding on railings anymore – you sign yourself up to a skating crew and team up with its members to gain some territory and make your mark as the king of the street. Group challenges present themselves in the skating paradise that is Port Carverton, and you have to do your best to not let your mates down. It works pretty seamlessly online or offline, with AI members to help you when playing solo or real friends for when you want some human interaction. The latter option is the most fun, with everyone coming together to compete with rival online crews for world supremacy. As your name gets more known in the virtual world, you'll notice billboards advertising your clothing line and hear your chosen music played throughout the city. Skate 3 also has improved user-creation features, with skate parks able to be created and downloaded, edited and then re-added with comments and ratings for each too.

Rogue Warrior (Xbox 360) $9.95 Infiltration, guns, lots of swearing and the hardest man you're ever likely to come across. Rogue Warrior is described by publisher Bethesda as a “personality-driven shooter” – what Hollywood used to called a “star vehicle”. It features former real-life Navy SEAL Richard 'Demo Dick' Marcinko, voiced by Mickey Rourke, getting up to the kind of sneaky, blacker than black ops its real life star is famous for. The game is set in the 1980s, when Marcinko was still a relative youngster, and focuses on a fictional campaign in which Demo Dick is trying to stop anti-ballistic missiles passing from North Korea to Russia. As the game progresses, things go awry and, having been told to stand down for reasons that are unclear, Dick goes rogue. In any given mission, you're likely to find two stages of play. First up is stealth. You have an armload of different stealthy kill moves to make use of as you sneak your way through a scenario. The environment also comes into play. Shooting out a light is an easy way to disorient an enemy before delivering a kill. An even better way to do it is take out a fuse box and plunge the entire building (a warehouse, in this case) into darkness, switching to night vision as you do it. The opposing soldiers, however, might well have a vague idea of what's going on. In pretty much all of the missions, expect things go south. As Dick is wont to say – no plan survives contact with the enemy. That brings you to the second stage of play; combat. Dick is left to shoot his way out of the various missions, with battles getting pretty frenetic as the obligatory oil drums go “boom!” The game naturally features online multiplayer – a staple feature of any shooter these days. Get ready to fight some terrorists Demo Dick style!

MotoGP 09/10 (Xbox 360) $12.95 It's time for fans of two-wheeled racing to dust off their virtual leathers – MotoGP 09/10 is here with not one but two seasons for us to race through. Yes, that's two seasons. The game comes with all the '09 season content (tracks, bikes, riders, teams) in the box. The 2010 goodies will be along as DLC, which is good news for racing fans as it means we'll also be getting the new Moto2 bikes – the 600cc class. That also means it will come with the new Silverstone track. And there's more! That also means the new Balaton track out in Hungary, which will feature later on in the season, will be up for grabs. Plenty of new goodies for bike fans to get to grips with. Championship mode is the meat of the game – a recreation of the MotoGP 09/10 season. As you dive in, you can pick your favourite rider and bike from any of the classes (125cc, 250cc, MotoGP – 800cc). With the 250ccs you have to take a bit more care on your throttle control or the back end is likely to slide out a bit more. Further up the scale, the 800cc bike is all about taking great care on the throttle control. The bike can slide out a lot more easily and you really have to pay attention to the state of your tyres. If you're not getting the picture – developer Monumental Games has put a lot of work into the way different classes of bike handle. This year also marks the introduction of the racing line for… we'll say 'less seasoned riders'. That comes from the developers racing the track over and over again, generating the best lap line. If, however, you outdo the dev team, the line will update to your fastest line. That can be uploaded to the network and then downloaded by your friends, so you can show them all how to be the speediest of racers. Career mode is for the more thoughtful racer. In a nutshell it takes you through some of the finer points of management – it's about building your own team, gaining reputation and hiring staff into that team. The game also supports up to twenty players in online multiplayer – a number that the creators claims is a first for racing games. With two seasons and all those features to go at, there's plenty on offer for bike fans in MotoGP 09/10.
